Part 5: Doubt


Can I do this?
Can I do what you want me to do,
say what needs to be said,
without recognition?
Without the sense of accomplishment
or feeling good?
You gave me recognition this week
for doing your will,
but now you ask me to do it again
and for the rest of my life,
without expecting anything in return.
No reciprocity.
Can I do this?
So much is holding me back.
I am human.
I am weak.
I am not enough.
But you declare me enough.
I can't do this without you God.
